Our collaboration with Eco-Libris will help you "stay green." For every order you place on the AchievePro Web site we'll plant a tree.
AchievePro is now partnering with Eco-Libris and we will be planting a tree for every single order you place on the AchievePro Web site and show your commitment to sustainability and responsible use of natural resources. Eco-Libris a “green” Delaware based company, that's on a mission: their aim is to provide people with easy and affordable ways to take responsibility for their actions and go green. And they’re doing it with books. Yes, books!
Eco-Libris enables people to do something reasonable, affordable yet with an impact: plant a tree for every book they read.
Here's how it works
Q: Is there a cost to me for planting a tree?
A: No, there is no cost to you for planting the tree. All you have to do is place your order on AchievePro and we will work directly with Eco-Libris to plant the trees.
Q: How are the trees planted?
A: We communicate directly with Eco-Libris to let them know how many trees should be planted. Eco-Libris then works with their planting partners who are organizations which work in developing countries. Their planting and conservation activities are an integral part of their efforts to help local communities in these countries move towards a sustainable future. Eco-Libris makes sure that your trees will be planted where they provide significant value for both the environment and the local communities, who are very much involved and play an important part in the planting projects.
Q: OK, I placed an order. When will the trees actually be planted?
A: Planting trees properly is a process that takes time. Generally, trees are planted during rainy seasons after being grown for a while in nurseries. There are also unexpected variables that can influence the timing of tree planting like extensive rainy seasons or extreme drought conditions. Based on the expected time-frames of our planting partners, trees will be planted within a year of the date of your payment. We are proud to be working with planting partners who take their job seriously and therefore, even if it takes some time to see the trees you pay for being planted, knowing that the process is handled in the most professional way possible makes it worthwhile. You can also rest assured every tree you pay for is 100% accretive - when you pay for a tree, a new tree will be planted (actually, 1.3 trees, to make sure at least one will survive). Without your contribution, this tree will not have been planted. Our planting partners are aware of the significance of this issue to us and our annual assessments will include a verification of their compliance to make sure our promise to you is kept.

Eco-Libris is a green business that works with book readers, publishers, authors, bookstores and others in the book industry to balance out the paper used for books by planting trees. More than 30 Million trees are cut down annually for virgin paper used for the production of books sold in the U.S. alone. Eco-Libris aims to raise awareness to the environmental impacts of using paper for the production of books and provide people and businesses with an affordable and easy way to do something about it: plant one tree for every book they read, sell or publish. Customers also receive a sticker made of recycled paper for every book they balance out saying “One tree planted for this book” and can later display these stickers on their books' sleeves. Publishers can use our logo in their cover designs to indicate one tree is planted for that book.
Eco-Libris partnered with three highly respected US and UK registered non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with local communities in developing countries to plant these trees. These trees are planted in high ecological and sustainable standards in Latin America (Nicaragua, Guatemala, Panama, Belize, Honduras) and Africa (Malawi), where deforestation is a crucial problem. Planting trees in these places not only helps to fight climate change and conserve soil and water, but also benefits many local people, for whom these trees offer many benefits, such as improvement of crops and additional food and income, and an opportunity for a better future.
